RESOLUTION NO. 1746

Appointment Process for Authorities, Boards, Commissions, and Advisory Committees

                WHEREAS, Harrison Township Board of Commissioners regularly appoints qualified residents to Township positions on various Township Authorities, Boards, Commissions, and Advisory Committees; and

                WHEREAS, Harrison Township Board of Commissioners wishes to establish an appointment policy to ensure that the most qualified individuals are identified to serve in such roles,

                THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Harrison Township Board of Commissioners hereby adopts the Appointment Policy attached hereto as Exhibit A.  Any previous resolution in conflict with this Resolution shall be repealed to the extent of such conflict.
