Guidelines for Harrison Township Tree Committee
Role: Provide community education and advocacy regarding the positive value of planting and maintaining trees in Harrison Township. Make recommendations to the Board of Commissioners regarding actions to promote the planting and maintenance of trees in the Township, and applications for public and private funding of tree planting and maintenance.
Appointments: Up to seven residents appointed for two-year terms, through December of each year, consisting of one from the Board of Commissioners, one from the Planning Commission, and five at-large community residents.
Participation Expectations: attendance at scheduled Tree Committee meetings. (All community residents are welcome to participate in publicly scheduled Committee meetings regardless of Committee membership.)
